The Amaze A805 is listed as supporting HDMI input up to 4K at 30Hz. This can be useful when connecting a compatible gaming console, camera or other HDMI video source to a computer-based capture workflow.

Important: 4K input support does not automatically mean the captured recording, preview or stream will be in 4K. The actual capture resolution depends on the device’s supported capture modes, software settings and computer performance.

Capture Video for Streaming and Recording

A compatible capture card can help bring video from an external HDMI source into supported recording or streaming software.

Potential uses include:

• Capturing gameplay from a compatible console.
• Recording supported HDMI camera output.
• Creating video tutorials and demonstrations.
• Incorporating supported video sources into streaming or recording workflows.
• Capturing presentations or other HDMI video sources where permitted.

The result depends on the source device, software, computer hardware and the capture modes supported by the A805.

Full HD Output up to 1080p at 60Hz

The listed specifications include output support up to 1080p at 60Hz. This is relevant for Full HD capture and preview workflows where compatible software and hardware support the selected mode.

Capture resolution, preview resolution, recording resolution and streaming resolution are not always the same. Check the available settings in your capture software before selecting a workflow.

USB 3.0 Connectivity and Aluminum Alloy Body

The Amaze A805 connects through USB 3.0 and features an aluminum alloy body. Its compact 12cm cable is designed for a tidy connection near your computer or recording setup.
